| Staff ReporterHouse Appoves ACE Funding
The House of Representatives has passed its version of the Treasury Appropriations Bill, which includes funding for the Customs Service’s new Automated Commercial Environment.
The bill now goes to the Senate, which is not expected to vote on it for a few weeks.
ITS is the umbrella system under which ACE will operate.

The House version includes $130 million for ACE, an additional $123 million to prop up the aging Automated Commercial System which ACE replaces and $5 million for the International Trade Data System.
