Highway Watch Membership Tops 750,000

Highway Watch said its enrollment recently topped 750,000.

The program, which trains truck drivers and other members of the highway sector to spot potential terrorist or criminal activity, was created by American Trucking Associations in 1998.

Prasad Sharma, executive director of Highway Watch, said members have reported more than 9,200 safety and security incidents.
