Grote Appoints Brian Blanton Chief Financial Officer

Grote Industries announced Brian Blanton has joined the company as chief financial officer.

Blanton most recently was chief financial officer of Mubea Group, North America. Mubea is a family-run automotive supplier founded in Germany in 1916.

Blanton succeeds Jim Braun, who had held the post since 2009 and was with Grote Industries for nearly 36 years.

“Jim’s contributions to our business over the years have been immeasurable, and he has been instrumental in helping develop the people, ideas and culture that have made us successful,” CEO Dominic Grote said in a release. “We are thankful for his tremendous contributions that have positioned Grote Industries for a financially strong future, and we look forward to seeing how Brian expands upon this legacy.

“With his experience in finance and manufacturing, he is bringing a toolbox of best practices to Grote, and we are looking forward to having him on our team.”

Madison, Ind.-based Grote Industries, which has been in business for 120 years, engineers and manufactures LED and incandescent lamps, mirrors, wiring systems, connections, and reflective accessories for trucks, trailers, farm and construction equipment, fire, rescue, and armored vehicles. It has additional facilities in Asia, Canada, Europe and Mexico. — Transport Topics
