Greg Nadeau Nominated to Be Administrator of FHWA

President Obama on May 8 nominated Greg Nadeau to be administrator of the Federal Highway Administration.

Nadeau has been deputy administrator of the agency since 2009 and was acting administrator for FHWA from July 2014 to February 2015.

Nadeau held several positions at the Maine Department of Transportation from 2002 to 2009, including deputy commissioner for policy, planning and communications and director of policy and communications.

Nadeau also served as a senior policy adviser to Maine Gov. Angus King from 1995 to 2002 and policy adviser in the Office of the Senate President of Maine from 1993 to 1994.



In addition, Nadeau was a member of the Maine House of Representatives from 1978 to 1990.
