Greatwide Buys Toronto Logistics Firm

reatwide Logistics Services has acquired Gallop Logistics Corp., Greatwide said Wednesday.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

Gallop Logistics, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada, company with $82 million in annual revenue, provides temperature-controlled truckload and less-than-truckload services for the U.S. and U.S./Canadian cross-border markets, Greatwide said in a statement.



Gallop's operations will be integrated into Greatwide's Truckload Brokerage business unit.

Greatwide Logistics Services is ranked No. 11 on the 2006 Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of U.S. and Canadian logistics companies.
