AS VEGAS — American Trucking Associations President Bill Graves urged members to help further enhance the industry’s public image and to get more involved in the national and local political processes.

“Communications for our industry is a significant priority,” Graves told Transport Topics after speaking at the opening session of ATA’s Management Conference & Exhibition here Oct. 4.

He also formally inducted the newest member of ATA: the Las Vegas-based 257th Transportation Company of the Army Reserve.
