extile firm Avondale Mills Inc. has agreed to sell a plant and its trucking division, which will preserve about 200 jobs in Alabama and South Carolina, the Associated Press reported.

The trucking division, based in Sylacauga, Ala., has been sold to Mount Vernon Mills, a Greenville, S.C., textile company, AP said. The deal includes about 60 trucks and more than 350 trailers.

Terms were not released, and the sale is expected to be finalized next month, AP reported.

Avondale, Monroe, Ga., has been in business since 1845.
