Genuine Parts Co. Launches Heavy Vehicles Parts Group

Genuine Parts Co. will launch a new unit to supply replacement parts for heavy-duty trucks and trailers, the auto parts distributor said Friday.

The Heavy Vehicles Parts Group USA will be based in Atlanta and serve fleet operators, major repair facilities, trailer manufacturers and others in the heavy-duty parts distribution channel, Genuine Parts said in a statement.

Jay Lott will be the new unit’s general manager.
