oe Artuso will re-place Marty Thomas as president of General Electric’s Trailer Fleet Services business, GE said last month.

The over-the-road trailer firm, formerly known as Transport International Pool, operates leases, loans and sales for commercial and transportation equipment.

Artuso also will lead GE’s Modular Space business, the company said in a statement. The two GE units employ 1,800 workers and have combined revenue of more than $1 billion.

Artuso was appointed to his new post by Art Harper, president of GE Equipment Services, based in Stamford, Conn., after Thomas accepted an executive assignment with GE’s lighting business, the company said.

Artuso was previously the chief risk officer of GE Equipment Services.

GE also said it has moved the North American headquarters of its Trailer Fleet Services to Wayne, Pa., from Devon, Pa.
