Gasoline Prices Rise 4 Cents, Lundberg Reports

Average U.S. retail gasoline prices rose 4 cents over the past three weeks to $2.22 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of gasoline prices released Sunday.Lundberg cited rising crude oil prices as the main factor in the increase. Crude prices rose almost $8 over the three weeks, closing at $59.89 Friday, Bloomberg reported.The twice-monthly survey covered the period of Jan. 20 through Friday.The highest price for self-serve regular was $2.76 a gallon in Honolulu. The lowest was in Billings, Mont., at $2.01.
