Gasoline Prices Up 17 Cents in Past Two Weeks, Lundberg Says

asoline prices across all three grades jumped an average of 17 cents over the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Self-serve regular jumped 18 cents to $2.67 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said. Mid-grade rose 17 cents to $2.76 and premium gained 17 cents to $2.86 a gallon.

Salt Lake City had the lowest reported price among surveyed cities, at $2.28 per gallon, while the highest was in Honolulu, at $2.88.



The Department of Energy reported a 9-cent increase last Monday to $2.588 a gallon. DOE is scheduled to issue its weekly survey of gasoline and diesel prices Monday afternoon.
