Gasoline Price Dips for First Time Since February, Lundberg Says

he average national price of self-serve regular gasoline fell for the first time since February, dropping 2 cents to $2.93 a gallon in the two weeks ended Friday, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

The lowest average price in the country for regular unleaded was in Wichita, Kan., at $2.49 a gallon; the highest was in San Diego, at $3.40.

he Energy Department will release its weekly survey of gasoline and diesel fuel retail prices Monday afternoon.
