Gasoline Average Drops 11 Cents

Gasoline prices fell 11 cents in the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Regular gasoline was $2.78 a gallon, mid-grade was $2.90 and premium was $3.02, said analyst Trilby Lundberg in her latest report, issued twice a month.

The lowest average price was in St. Louis, where regular cost $2.52 a gallon, while the highest was in Chicago, at $3.15, the survey said.
