GasBuddy announced that Pilot Flying J, the largest operator of travel centers in North America, has selected its software-as-a-service application, GasBuddy Business Pages, to drive customers to its 750 locations.

GasBuddy Business Pages is a B2B platform built specifically for the highly competitive $650 billion retail fuel and convenience store industry, according to the Boston-based company.

GBBP enables retailers, like Pilot Flying J, to monitor real-time, industry-specific ratings and reviews and respond to inquiries that require action or attention.

“We understand that consumers have many options of places to fuel or shop and that more than ever people are making decisions with their smartphones,” Pilot Flying J’s Tyler Tanaka, director of marketing, said in a statement. “GasBuddy Business Pages gives us an effective way to showcase our travel center offerings such as fresh food, free WiFi and clean bathrooms to millions who interact with the GasBuddy platform.”

GasBuddy provides crowdsourced information to help drivers find the best gas prices, closest stations, friendliest service, cleanest restrooms, tastiest coffee and more. Its smartphone app connects nearly 70 million drivers.
