Freightliner Names Manager for Dealers
reightliner LLC said it named Joshua Palmer general manager of dealer operations, effective immediately.
Freightliner, the North American truck-making subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, includes Freightliner Trucks — the market leader in Class 8 U.S. retail sales — plus the Sterling and Western Star truck brands.Palmer succeeds Reid Bigland, who was recently promoted to president of Freightliner’s custom chassis business unit, the company said. He formerly had been the group’s associate general counsel for sales and distribution matters.
