FourKites, McLeod Forge Technology Partnership

Technology provider FourKites has created a partnership with McLeod Software that integrates tracking and transportation management software.

Chicago-based FourKites said in an announcement that its load-tracking technology now can be used by companies that have McLeod’s PowerBroker software. The tracking technology offers updates of truck location every 15 minutes, and models arrival and departure times in an effort to eliminate check-in calls that involve drivers and dispatchers.

“We’re very pleased with this integration that enables McLeod’s brokerage customers to access our most comprehensive, most affordable tracking service,” FourKites CEO Mathew Elenjickal said.

“The partnership between McLeod Software and FourKites will ensure a quality end-to-end solution for our mutual customers,” said Robert Brothers, manager of product development at McLeod Software based in
