Forward Air, DHL Set Three-Year Partnership

orward Air Inc. said late Wednesday it has begun a three-year partnership with DHL Global Forwarding, under which Forward Air will be the primary provider of DHL Global Forwarding’s expedited ground transportation services.

“We are extremely pleased that DHL Global Forwarding has chosen Forward Air as its primary partner for ground-based transportation for the next three years,” Forward Air President Bruce Campbell said in a statement.

"As our business evolves towards a heavier demand for expedited ground services, it is vital that we partner with a company like Forward Air who can provide our customers with first-class service and technology as we grow this important segment of our business,” said Al Pettenato, vice president of domestic services for DHL Global Forwarding.

Forward Air Corp. is ranked No. 72 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies. DHL Americas is ranked No. 4.
