Former Sylectus President to Lead Startup TMS Firm

Full Circle TMS, a new provider of Web-based transportation management software, announced Stuart Sutton will be CEO of the startup company.

Sutton is a co-founder and former president of TMS firm Sylectus, which is a division of trucking technology supplier Omnitracs. He retired from Sylectus in 2014.

Sutton said Full Circle’s TMS “will be written from scratch but incorporate many of the lessons I’ve learned over the years on what works and what doesn’t work when making a world-class TMS solution.” "Furthermore, we will be developing the TMS using the latest database, user-interface and programming languages that easily port to desktop, Web and mobile platforms,” he added.

Full Circle also said it has hired Derek Comartin as vice president of engineering.

The company said its software will be designed to help fleets of any size improve productivity and profitability by automating their operations and financial activity while integrating with their partners.
