Former STB Chair Roger Nober to Head BNSF’s Law Department

urlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. said Thursday that former Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober will join the railroad Jan. 1 as head of BNSF’s law department.

Nober has been a partner at Washington, D.C., law and lobbying firm Steptoe & Johnson since he stepped down from the STB at the end of last year after a three-year stint as its chairman. (Click here for previous coverage.)
