FHWA Gives Louisiana $3.5 Million for Isaac Repairs

The Federal Highway Administration has released $3.5 million to help repair Louisiana highways damaged by Hurricane Isaac.

The storm-related damage came mostly from wind and flooding, FHWA said. The damage spread to 24 parishes, but it was mostly in Plaquemines, Lafourche and St. John the Baptist parishes.

FHWA estimated that the total cost of all the repairs will be $31 million.
