FedEx Sets New Brokerage Service

FedEx Corp. said Tuesday it has introduced a new brokerage company called FedEx Truckload Brokerage.

The new company, announced by FedEx unit FedEx Custom Critical, officially opened in January, FedEx said.

The unit has brokerage options including dry-van freight, oversized pieces requiring flatbed trailers and shipments requiring temperature control, FedEx said.

FedEx is ranked No. 2 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
