FedEx to Boost Fuel Surcharge

Federal Express Corp. announced today that it will raise its fuel surcharge from 3% to 4% starting April 1. The increase will affect most of its domestic and international services.

The company said in a press release that it will increase its fuel surcharge to $0.15 per kilogram on FedEx International Airport to Airport and FedEx International Express Freight shipments. The surcharge will apply to all domestic shipments and all U.S. export shipments, where legally permissible.
