Expeditors International of Washington's 3Q Income Rises

ogistics firm Expeditors International of Washington Tuesday reported it earned $55.8 million or 50 cents a share in the third quarter, compared with $43.1 million or 39 cents a share in the previous third quarter.

et revenue rose 17% to $281.9 million, total revenue rose 17% to $1 billion and operating income rose 27% to $85.8 million, the company said in a statement.

Expeditors International of Washington, headquartered in Seattle, is ranked No. 20 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics companies.
