Existing Home Sales Rise in March

xisting home sales rose 0.3% in March, the National Association of Realtors said Tuesday.

The increase to a 6.92 million annual rate from February’s 6.9 million was above the 6.66 million rate predicted by economists, Bloomberg reported.

Existing home sales account for 85% of the residential real estate market in the United States. When a home is sold, trucks are usually used to transport household appliances and furniture.
