Estes Launches Mexican Logistics Subsidiary

Estes Express Lines said Tuesday that it has launched a Mexican third-party logistics subsidiary, Estes Logistica.

The less-than-truckload carrier has offered service to Mexico since 2003, but Estes Logistica will allow better integration with U.S. and Canadian markets, as well as improved supply chain services within Mexico, the company said in a statement.

Estes Logistica has established locations in Monterrey and Mexico City, and the subsidiary will also work closely with Estes locations at border crossings, the company said.

Estes Express Lines, Richmond, Va., is ranked No. 21 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
