Edward A. Kyrish, president of International Trucks of Houston, was named 2002 Dealer of the Year by the American Truck Dealers division of the National Automobile Dealers Association at the 39th annual ATD Convention and Exposition in Las Vegas April 13.Like the 2001 winner, W.A. “Bill” Ward of International Trucks in Mobile, Ala., Kyrish was an employee of International Truck and Engine Corp. when he purchased his first dealership, Longhorn International Trucks in Austin, Texas, in 1976.For the full story, see the April 15 print edition of Transport Topics.
