Echo Global Logistics Sets Executive Appointments

Echo Global Logistics has appointed CEO Douglas Waggoner to be the chairman.

Samuel Skinner, who joined the board in September 2006 and has served as non-executive chairman since February 2007, will retire as chairman but remain on the board.

Bradley Keywell, a co-founder of the company, was appointed to the new position of lead independent director, and Paul Loeb was appointed to the board. Loeb was CEO of Command Transportation, which Echo bought for $420 million earlier this month.

Echo Global Logistics ranks No. 45 on the Transport Topics Logistics Top 50 list of North American logistics firms.
