Eaton Buying Filtration Business from Dover Resources

ehicle parts maker Eaton Corp. said Wednesday it reached agreement with Dover Resources to purchase its industrial filtration unit Ronningen-Petter. Terms were not disclosed.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter, Eaton said. Dover Resources is a subsidiary of Dover Corp.

The filtration company had 2005 sales of about $30 million. It provides filters and components to customers in end markets that include the oil and gas, pulp and paper, and food and beverage industries.



Ronningen-Petter is based in Portage, Mich., and has 110 employees.
