Dynamex CEO James Welch Leaving Company

James Welch, CEO of parcel carrier Dynamex Inc., has left the firm, parent company TransForce Inc. said in a statement.

Canadian carrier TransForce, which acquired Dynamex earlier this year, said Welch’s departure would be effective Friday, July 22.

“James was instrumental in building Dynamex into a highly respected brand in the North American package and courier industry, Alain Bédard, Transforce’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement.

TransForce is ranked No. 10 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
