ankrupt auto-parts manufacturer Delphi Corp. reported a loss of $2.6 billion for its first and second quarters, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

The decline was related to spending on worker buyouts and retirement incentives, Bloomberg said.

The first-quarter loss of $363 million or 65 cents a share was less than last year’s $403 million or 73 cents.

The manufacturer’s second quarter loss widened to $2.3 billion from last year’s $338 million, including $1.89 billion in spending related to job cuts, Bloomberg reported.
