Deliveright Logistics Expands Service to West Coast, South

Deliveright Logistics, a final-mile delivery network for heavy goods, announced on Aug. 20 service has expanded to the West Coast, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and northern Florida.

CEO Doug Ladden said the New Jersey company opened three terminals to assist with deliveries.

With the expansion, Deliveright said it covers 70% of the U.S. population. The new facilities are located in Lacey, Wash., covering Washington and Oregon; Tupelo, Miss., covering Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee; and Orlando, covering northern Florida.

Deliveright said it also enables customers to ship to final-mile terminals from manufacturers in North Carolina, California, Texas and other hubs, such as Mississippi.

Officials said Deliveright is undergoing rapid expansion, coming on the heels of opening a Utah terminal in July.

Deliveright said it uses cloud-based software and a data analytics platform for heavy goods, and serves more than 1,000 customers in more than 20 states.

The Bayonne, N.J.-based company’s services include final-mile home delivery, warehousing, terminal management and billing. — Transport Topics
