Dana Corp. Reports $43 Million Loss in July

uto parts manufacturer Dana Corp., a maker of light-truck axles, reported a $43-million loss in July, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

Sales for July were $615 million, the company said in statement.

Dana filed for bankruptcy in the wake of production cuts by Ford Motor Co. and rising materials costs, Bloomberg said. The company must post monthly results as part of the bankruptcy process.



Dana has recorded $133 million in losses since seeking court protection, Bloomberg reported.
