Two trucking industry component suppliers disclosed their preliminary 2012 results this week.

Dana Holding Corp. said its 2012 revenue would be about $7.2 billion, a 5% reduction, and that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization would be about $780 million, a 2% improvement over 2011. The figure excludes effects such as gains and charges.

Dana, Maumee, Ohio, is scheduled to release its earnings on Feb. 21.

American Axle & Manufacturing said it expects to report 2012 revenue of $2.9 billion and that EBITDA would be $350 million, before one-time gains and charges.

Those amounts represent a 12% revenue increase and a 9% drop in profitability. American Axle, Detroit, is scheduled to release its earnings on Feb. 8.

Both companies disclosed the information during an investor conference.
