Crude Oil Price Remains Over $71 a Barrel

enchmark light sweet crude oil futures rose 5 cents Friday to close at $71.37 a barrel following renewed concern over Iran’s nuclear program, Bloomberg reported.

Oil had closed at below $70 every day last week but climbed back to close the trading day at more than $70 three days this week.

The Energy Department’s weekly diesel and gasoline retail price survey is due to come out on Tuesday because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday.
