C.R. England Names New CEO, Reorganizes Senior Leadership

C.R. England said it has named Chad England its new CEO and reorganized its leadership following the death of former CEO Wayne Cederholm II.

Chad England was formerly the company’s chief operating officer and succeeds Cederholm, who died on April 9 from complications of a bone marrow transplant at the age of 57.

Dean England, formerly president, becomes co-chairman, and Chief Financial Officer Josh England will take on the added title and duties of president, the Salt Lake City-based carrier said.

The changes were announced in a statement by company chairman Dan England, who was chairman of American Trucking Associations for the year ended last October.

“While Wayne Cederholm’s passing was certainly unexpected, the company has always had in place a strong plan for leadership continuity,” Dan England said.

“This reorganization is designed to reinforce and further promote C.R. England’s position in the marketplace as an industry leader,” he added.

C.R. England is ranked No. 20 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
