Commercial Vehicle Group’s Income Jumps

Commercial Vehicle Group’s fourth-quarter and full-year income jumped on increases in the North American Class 8 heavy-duty truck and global construction markets.

Fourth-quarter income rose to $10.1 million, or 36 cents per share, from $4 million, or 14 cents, a year ago.

Revenue rose to $225.8 million from $158.1 million, the New Albany, Ohio-based maker of truck components said in a statement.

For the full year, CVG posted a profit of $18.6 million, or 66 cents per share, up from $6.5 million, or 24 cents. Revenue jumped to $832 million from $597.8 million.
