Clean Energy Signs Deal to Build Natural Gas Station in Texas

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. on Monday said it has signed an agreement with tank truck carrier Green Energy Oilfield Services to build and supply a new liquefied natural gas fueling station in Texas.

The new LNG fueling station will be located at Green Energy’s headquarters in Fairfield, Texas, where it will fuel the company's fleet of 60 natural gas powered heavy-duty trucks.

Development of the new fueling station is set to begin in August, with completion scheduled for the end of 2012.

Green Energy is also planning the development of additional LNG truck fueling stations in the Barnett, Haynesville and Eagle Ford Shale petroleum-producing areas of Texas, Clean Energy said.
