CD&L’s Fourth-Quarter Profit Declines

ackage delivery firm CD&L Inc. said Friday it earned $613,000 or 6 cents a share, down from $914,000 or 4 cents a year earlier for its fourth quarter ended March 31.

Revenue rose 11.3% to $58.2 million for the quarter, the company said in a statement.

For the year, the company earned $2.5 million or 15 cents per share, compared with $1.6 million or 13 cents a share in 2004. Revenue rose 12.2% to $221.9 million.



CD&L is ranked No. 95 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
