Cat Lift Trucks Adds Products For 2010

Cat Lift Trucks said that it has added five new electric counterbalanced and internal combustion pneumatic lift truck families to its current product lineup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Cat Lift, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., said Jan. 5 that several new product en-hancements will also be offered to customers as part of the existing Class 4 and 5 lift truck product lines.

“Cat Lift Trucks is committed to delivering durable products that feature the latest technology and comfort for lift truck owners and users,” Jeff Rufener, vice president of marketing for Cat Lift Trucks, said in the statement.

Cat Lift Trucks said the new models had capacities rang-ing from 2,600 pounds to 12,000 pounds.

The new features include: a five-level programmed performance mode selector, which lets the operator adapt to various applications; a full-suspension seat and fully floating cab design to help reduce shock and vibration; anti-rollback features for both loaded and unloaded conditions, which help the operator retain full speed control on ramps.
