Cass Acquires NTransit’s Parcel Auditing Services

ass Information Systems, a St. Louis company that provides invoice payment and information services to the transportation industry, said Monday it acquired the parcel auditing services of NTransit Inc.

Known as “Unlock,” NTransit’s service provides auditing and expense management of parcel shipments, including cost recovery for guaranteed service, proof of delivery, and detection of duplicate billings.

Cass said the Unlock system can reduce users’ annual parcel shipping budget by 2% to 3%.

The transaction closed July 7, Cass said in a statement. The company did not disclose the terms of the deal.
