CarrierWeb Reports 40% Sales Growth in 2014

Trucking technology supplier CarrierWeb said sales volume in the United States grew by a record 40% in 2014.

The provider of mobile communications and trailer tracking also announced several new hires and promotions. In addition, it created Product Management and Professional Services, a department to support customers and sustain growth.

“As the transportation industry continues to seek technology that improves their operational efficiency, safety, compliance and driver satisfaction, we continue to experience a growth in new business,” CEO R. Fenton-May said in the announcement.

CarrierWeb hired Tommy Clark as senior director of sales for the Southeast and Deanna Newcomb as director of field client services.



The company also promoted George Dunn to senior vice president of sales, Trena Wade to vice president of inside sales and sales support, and Keith O’Brien to vice president of product management and professional services.

William Newlands, who is chief financial officer for CarrierWeb and its parent company, e*freightrac, also was appointed as senior vice president for CarrierWeb.
