Border to Open by June
Mineta Says U.S. Will be Ready for Mexican Trucks
WASHINGTON — The United States should be fully ready to open its border to Mexican trucks by the middle of this year, according to U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Y. Mineta.
It’s going to be May or June before we open the border. That’s our plan,” Mineta told Transport Topics Jan. 2.
