Big-Truck Makers, Sandberg to Face Fleet Execs at MC&E

img src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/printeditiontag_new.gif" width=120 align=right>Motor carrier executives will hear directly from five of the industry’s major vendors and the federal government’s chief truck safety regulator at American Trucking Associations’ annual Management Conference & Exhibition, the trade group said.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 3-7 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Organizers told Transport Topics they expected attendance to be the largest since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and that the number of exhibitors would be at least as many as last year’s in San Antonio.

Hours-of-service rules, the economy, profitability and the upcoming elections were expected to be among the main topics at the event.
