Bestpass Hits Milestones for Transponders, Customers

Bestpass, a provider of single-source payment and streamlined toll management services for commercial fleets, announced it has surpassed 500,000 active transponders within its nationwide toll coverage network.

Bestpass added more than 1,700 customers in 2018, bringing the total number to near 6,000, a press release stated. It also hired 22 new employees, bringing the total number to 78, and exceeded $100 million in toll-related savings for customers to date.



Additionally, the company launched Bestpass Rebilling, which allows customers to reassign toll transactions to specific business units, customers or contractors; and announced a trailer pay-by-plate solution.

Bestpass, based in Albany, N.Y., was founded in 2001 by the Trucking Association of New York. It helps facilitate more than 238,000 toll transactions daily. — Transport Topics
