BAX Sets Mexico Flights

BAX Global said it is expanding its overnight distribution capabilities between the United States, Mexico and Canada by adding an additional air cargo flight into Mexico, starting next Monday.

Serving the industrial area known as the Bajio, the overnight flight to the Querétaro airport will provide companies with earlier freight arrival and a later departure times than previously offered in the area, BAX said.

Manufacturers in the Bajio region can increase their facilities’ production capabilities because they will no longer have to truck their freight to or from either Guadalajara or Mexico City airports, the carrier said.

BAX Global is part of DB Logistics, the transportation and logistics division of Germany’s Deutsche Bahn AG.

BAX Global and Schenker Logistics, together, are ranked No. 18 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics firms.
