ORLANDO, Fla. — American Trucking Associations on Oct. 20 opened the exhibit hall at its 2013 Management Conference & Exhibition here, giving fleet executives and other attendees the chance to peruse the latest products, services and technologies for the trucking industry.

ATA President Bill Graves joined outgoing ATA Chairman Michael Card, president of Combined Transport Inc., and incoming Chairman Philip Byrd Sr., president of Bulldog Hiway Express, for the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

“This ribbon cutting symbolizes an exciting opportunity to see the future of trucking in the many products and services that are going to be displayed here today,” Card said before ushering attendees into the show space.

The hall included booths, displays and demonstrations from about 170 exhibitors, including 35 companies exhibiting at MC&E for the first time.

More coverage of the exhibit hall will be included in the Oct. 28 print edition of Transport Topics.
