ArvinMeritor Reaches Agreement With Ontario Plant Workers

ruck parts maker ArvinMeritor Inc. said it has reached an agreement with workers at the Ontario, Canada factory it locked them out of last week, Bloomberg reported.

The tentative agreement at the Tilbury factory with the Canadian Auto Workers involved about 250 of 300 workers at the facility, closed since June 4, Bloomberg said.

ArvinMeritor said it had been negotiating with the CAW since late April to get a new agreement to replace the previous one, which expired June 4.
