rvinMeritor and German Firm ZF Friedrichshafen AG said they were pleased with an International Trade Commission ruling on the importation of FreedomLine transmissions from Europe.

“We were confident that the re-design did not infringe on the 279 patent, and the ruling has certainly verified our position in serving customers," said Wolfgang Vogel, executive vice president for commercial vehicle transmissions at ZF Friedrichshafen.
