ArvinMeritor Names Commercial Vehicle Chief

rvinMeritor has named Carsten Reinhardt president of its Commercial Vehicle Systems business, the company said Thursday in a release.

Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, Reinhardt was president of diesel engine manufacturer Detroit Diesel Corp., a subsidiary of automaker DaimlerChrysler AG.

Reinhardt will be responsible for overall strategic management of the company’s global commercial vehicle components and customer-focused services for both original equipment and aftermarket production.

He succeeds Tom Gosnell who is retiring. Gosnell will remain an ArvinMeritor consultant.
