Appeals Court Upholds Trump’s 25% Steel Import Tariffs

President Donald Trump acted within his authority when he imposed a 25% tariff on certain steel imports effective March 2018, a U.S. appeals court ruled Feb. 28.

The Court of International Trade was correct to reject a challenge filed by the American Institute for International Steel Inc., the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled.
